The last Chicken I would like to introduce to you is…

Shark!

Riahjoy: How did you get your name?

Riahjoy: What is your favorite part of the day?

Shark: When I get sleep.

Riahjoy: Do you like being held?

Shark: No

Riahjoy: Is there anything else you would like to share?

Shark: Yes, when you come into the coop bring us food and leave us alone.

Riahjoy: Well… um… thanks!

Thank you all for reading these interviews! I hope you enjoyed reading them and getting to know our chickens a little better :)

The second Chicken I would like to introduce to you is…

Pot Pie!

Riahjoy: How did you get your name?

Pot Pie: Jordan named me Pot Pie. I fail to see the humor.

Riahjoy: What is your favorite part of the day?

Pot Pie: When the humans come visit; I am the hospitality queen.

Riahjoy: Do you like being held?

Pot Pie: I prefer sitting on the human’s knees

Riahjoy: Is there anything else you would like to share?

Pot Pie: You must realize that I am the prettiest one in the coop, regardless of what anyone else might tell you.

Riahjoy: Thanks for the great interview!

SQUEAK!

Riahjoy: How did you get your name?

Squeak: Well you named me Squeak because whenever you picked me up I would squeak like a squeaky toy; but that was when you first got me, a month and a half ago. I have long since grown out of squeaking (I hope).

Riahjoy: What is your favorite part of the day?

Squeak: Probably when you spray the coop down to cool it off. I really like getting wet, just don’t tell the others that, they will think I am weird.

Riahjoy: Do you like being held?

Squeak: I like being held gently, I just don’t like the catching process.

Riahjoy: Is there anything else you would like to share?

Squeak: Sure, I am the CUTEST one in the coop, no matter what anyone else tells you… PERIOD

Riahjoy: Well… um… thanks for the interview!

I’m Back!

I’m Back!

Oh! it feels so good to be back home and blogging again. I have been house-sitting since the 14th and last night was the first time in a long time that I got to sleep in my own bed again. I had been back home to grab new cloths and pack for the home school conference, but they were just short visits.

It’s good to be back, but I am thankful for the time I had away to be able to sort through some thoughts and ideas about the coming year. It was great to have some time with my older sister Jordan, something we don’t get to do that often. I was also able to watch the SetApartGirl conference 2010 DVDs. I learned a lot and got closer with God. It was amazing.

I also missed my chickens. I am hoping to go outside today and get some good pictures of them to post either today or tomorrow.

Well that’s all for now!
